On Tuesday 30th April, we welcomed around 100 investors to a drinks and canapés reception at Wagtail, the flagship rooftop bar within Maven Leisure’s profitable estate of high-end City venues.
There is a selection of images from the event below and these show exactly why this is such a destination venue and why it consistently ranks so highly in lists of the best rooftop bars in not just the capital but in the UK overall.
Set across the top two floors of a stunning 1920s building on King William Street, the Financial Times says ‘The peak of The Shard and the Golden Gallery of St Paul’s sets the spectacular aerial scene’ and ‘The icing on the cake? The 360-degree rooftop bar at the top of the building: a perch to sip sundowners and drink in the views’.
As recently announced by City AM, we have now launched a £2m EIS-qualifying round for Maven to enable the company to accelerate its already impressive growth. This will include opening a second rooftop bar, this time overlooking Trafalgar Square, and a new landmark sports bar amongst the world-famous Piccadilly Lights. These venues will add to its existing estate which has grown to over £10m turnover since its founding in 2021.
The experienced Maven management team, who also operate the highly regarded ETM Group, have proven track records in the hospitality industry. We are delighted to be supporting their new acquisitions to strengthen their already impressive portfolio and look forward to visiting what are sure to be fantastic new venues in two of the most iconic locations in the capital.
