Our Chairman, Kieron Launder, has been featured in a Financial Times piece about how investors can make the best use of the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS).
EIS is the Government’s flagship tax incentive to encourage private individuals to invest in fast-growing UK businesses. Since it was introduced in 1994, more than £30bn has been invested into over 53,000 companies through EIS. The scheme was recently extended to 2035 in the Autumn Statement, providing much needed reassurance for investors and entrepreneurs across the UK.
Published in the FT Money section both in print and online, this new article highlights that EIS is growing in popularity, and touches on topics such as finding opportunities and the various benefits of the scheme.
We were delighted to be featured in this piece by Martha Muir alongside the likes of Christiana Stewart-Lockhart, Director General at the Enterprise Investment Scheme Association (EISA).
