Premium London bar group Maven Leisure Limited (“the Company” or “Maven”) is raising £2million in growth capital through Growthdeck.
The fundraise will accelerate the group’s development of new premium bars in central London, including a landmark sports bar and a rooftop bar in two of the most iconic locations in the capital.
The group currently boasts a flagship bar and restaurant, Wagtail, situated on a rooftop on King William Street in the City of London, providing 360o panoramic views of the City and beyond. Alongside Wagtail, the group operates three thriving sports bars.
This new funding round follows a period of strong growth for Maven. Established in 2021, the group saw revenue increase to £10.2million and EBITDA rise to £1.4million at the end of the last financial year. The new venues are forecast to drive further growth.
Maven has been established by Ed Martin and the management team of ETM Group, which grew from a single site to a business turning over £33m.
